Burger King reviews $400 mil account

Burger King Corp., Miami, is putting its $400 million ad account up for review. Mikel Durham, recently named North American president at the No. 2 fast-feeder, made the decision following poor sales. Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide, New York, has handled Burger King since 1993. Unaffected are UniWorld Group, New York, which for 17 years has handled Burger King's advertising to the African-American market, and Bromley Communications, San Antonio, for 11 years creating BK advertising aimed at Hispanics.
