Burnett ties with medical ad shop

Leo Burnett Co., Chicago, entered the pharmaceutical advertising business by acquiring an interest in medical agency Williams-Labadie Advertising, Itasca, Ill., a $28 million agency founded in 1990. Clients include Abbott Laboratories, Clintec, Fujisawa USA and others. The two agencies said they will collaborate on new business opportunities aimed at clients targeting both consumers and medical professionals.
