Caddy stays with golf

General Motors Corp.'s Cadillac division has extended its sponsorship deal with the Senior PGA Tour, retaining title sponsorship of an ESPN-televised series of golf tournaments that will reach 23 annual events by 2000. In addition to on-site promotion, Cadillac plans to continue leveraging the sponsorship through local dealer ad and marketing programs, public relations and its sponsorship of 13 players on the tour, said Peter Gerosa, general sales and service manager. Cadillac agency D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., coordinates the marketing effort.
