Campbell Soup to try new health products

Published on .

Campbell Soup Co. is preparing to launch a new food line with natural pharmacological qualities that would make it the first major marketer to flirt with the "nutraceutical" concept. For legal reasons, the company is expected to stay away from the term nutraceutical, an industry hot button. The launch, expected within a month, is believed to have been assigned to BBDO Worldwide, New York.

Chrysler Corp. is consolidating its Chrysler-Plymouth and Jeep-Eagle marketing divisions. Martin Levine, Dodge Division general manager, becomes general manager at the new combined division. Ray Fisher succeeds Mr. Levin at Dodge Division, from general manager, Chrysler-Plymouth. Eagle General Manager Ed Brust will be appointed to a new, as-yet-undisclosed post. The changes aren't likely to impact Chrysler's agencies. Bozell Worldwide, Southfield, already handles Chrysler-Plymouth and Jeep-Eagle; BBDO Detroit, also Southfield, handles Dodge. More changes are expected, some as soon as this week.
