Canada's Watt Group gets Wal-Mart work in U.K., Germany

TORONTO--Watt Group, Toronto, has been appointed as the lead design company for Wal-Mart's roll-out of ITS Sam's Choice and Great Value brands in the U.K. and Germany.

The business, worth an estimated $14 million, is the latest of several new business wins for Envoy Communications Group, Watt's parent company.Envoy's Toronto ad agency, Communique Group, similarly landed new accounts for Canadian entertainment and movie distribution company Alliance Atlantis as well as New York-based Internet phone company Phonefree. Financial details weren't disclosed.
