Children's TV advocates launch site

Children's TV advocates are launching a new Web site ( to provide updated information about the Children's Television Act. The site also shows parents how to evaluate local children's TV content and where to send results and/or complaints. Under new FCC rules beginning Sept. 1, every commercial TV station has to air at least 3 hours per week of programming designed to serve the educational and informational needs of 2-to-16-year-olds.
