CIA's Italy unit loses Unilever's $150 million media business to Mindshare

LONDON/MILAN--Unilever Italy has ended a long relationship with CIA Blumedia, Milan, by shifting its $150 million media business to WPP Group's MindShare, Milan.

The appointment follows a global review of Unilever's media operations, according to Alan Rutherford, global media director, Unilever, London. Italy represents Unilever's third largest market in Europe.

The loss of the Italy account leaves CIA Medianetwork out of Unilever's agency roster worldwide.

MindShare will officially take over the account in January.
