CNBC Asia launches ad campaign in Hong Kong, Singapore

SINGAPORE--Business news network CNBC Asia has introduced new brand campaigns in Hong Kong and Singapore.

In Hong Kong, CNBC Asia is lighting up the skyline starting in mid-June with illuminated bus ads -- a first for Asia. Ads on 18 double-decker CityBus vehicles serving downtown Hong Kong are lit between dusk and dawn with the headline "Look & Earn."

"CNBC Asia is about what the news means to your money and the ad campaign reflects how the network can help you make profits," explains Miguel Bernas, general manager of marketing and communications in Singapore.

In Singapore, Bartle Bogle Hegarty developed three-dimensional, movable ads for 100 taxi tops, the first of which displays a rooster wind vane that rotates in the wind, accompanied by the headline," See which way the wind is blowing."

The second shows an abacus with real beads, coupled with the headline, "Keeping up with today's markets?" Launched in June, the taxi campaign will run for six months.
