CNBC Asia sets up network sales team

SINGAPORE--CNBC Asia has formed a Network Advertising Sales Development team headed up by former Dentsu Young & Rubicam executive John McClure.

As general manager of the new unit, Mr. McClure oversees the team's support of CNBC's international sales units, works directly with key clients to provide marketing solutions and manages sales operations, including CNBC Sports in the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, Mr. McClure reports to Mark Froude, VP-international sales, Asia.

Mr. McClure has 18 years of experience in the media and advertising industry. He was senior VP-regional media director in Asia for Dentsu Young & Rubicam, covering 12 countries and overseeing 220 media professionals. He has most recently worked as consultant for various regional clients, including CNBC Sports.

CNBC Asia is a service of Dow Jones & Co. Headquartered in Singapore, CNBC Asia is available in more than 20 million homes on a 24-hour basis and more than 365,000 hotel rooms across Asia. The service is distributed via satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcast networks.
