CNN and Volvo Car Corp. said they signed Volvo's first global TV marketing deal, a three-year pact involving a new CNN weekly music news show, "World Beat." The show will air on CNN internationally and in the U.S. Volvo will be branded on the opening and closing credits of the show and during program breaks. It will also receive commercial time in the program. The buy is part of Volvo's previously announced first global marketing effort (AA, March 30). Spending was not disclosed.
