institutes new uniform ad strategy for special event sections

Published on . in mid-December plans to launch a new advertising strategy delivering uniform messages through multiple ad placements in the site's "Special Event" sections, such as College Bowls, Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals and Golf Majors. plans on offering the advertising strategy on 26 "Special Event" sections next year; advertisers are being offered a chance to buy integrated packages combining CNN/Sports Illustrated's TV coverage of major sporting events, SI's post-game analysis in print and Castrol, and E-News already have bought packages.
