Coca-Cola Co. named London agency Leagas Delaney to work on a project for its Fanta soft drink brand. The agency beat out D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Publicis for the assignment. DMB&B held the global Fanta account until last month when it was awarded to Cliff Freeman
& Partners, leaving DMB&B with local assignments in 12 countries. A Coca-Cola spokeswoman in London declined to reveal details of the assignment. In the U.K., Fanta has had no ad support since 1992.
