Stan Stein to worldwide director of the General Motors Corp. account, a new post at DMB&B Public Relations, the Troy, Mich., office of Manning, Selvage & Lee, from senior VP-managing director. He was also promoted to Manning's new centralized management board merging the U.S. and European boards.

James P. White to chief creative officer, Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis, from vice chairman-chief creative officer, Long Haymes Carr, Winston-Salem, N.C. He succeeds David Tree, who remains vice chairman.
