CommerceNet, Nielsen study electronic commerce

CommerceNet and Nielsen Media Research will release an updated version of their Internet Demographics Survey next month that studies consumer buying patterns on the Web. In addition to offering the results in a CD-ROM, the survey data will be broken down and sold individually to specific markets. The companies also said they plan to conduct a new study every six months over the next three years to track Internet-based electronic commerce.
