CommonPlaces names interactive program sales director

CommonPlaces, Cambridge, Mass., developer of, an online hub for college audiences, has named Jeff Goodman as director-interactive program sales. Mr. Goodman joins CommonPlaces from Lycos, where he was an ad sales executive. In his new role, Mr. Goodman will spearhead the rollout of to interactive advertising agencies as a channel to reach the 17- to 25-year-old young adult and college marketplace. Goodman also will help sell integrated online and offline campaigns to marketers targeting this market segment, with an emphasis on the college audience.
