Compaq OKs spots touting 'innovation'

Compaq Computer Corp. has approved two TV spots that will be part of the company's ad campaign in the fall via FCB Worldwide, New York. The spots are believed to highlight the depth and breadth of Compaq's Internet capabilities and services. Executives are said to have nixed a tag that used the words "Never stop," in favor of one emphasizing "innovation."
