Continental execs stay on board

Folksy Continental Airlines Chairman-CEO Gordon Bethune, credited with turning around the one-time struggling Houston-based carrier, signed a new five-year contract with the airline. Chief Operating Officer Greg Brenneman, often rumored as a CEO candidate elsewhere, also reupped, as did the three other top executives at Continental. The airline, whose stock was trading near its 52-week high of about $54 today, uses blue-hued creative with the tagline "Work hard. Fly right" from N.W. Ayer & Partners, New York.
