Cable TV network's first-quarter '96 growth rate, which appeared in the media chart of the Top 200 megabrands report (Aug 5, Page 16) should have been 27.6% as compared to the same period in 1995, according to Competitive Media Reporting, and not 10.1% as published. CMR erred in recomputing the growth figure after Advertising Age requested a same-cable growth rate comparing ad volumes of the same 17 cable networks in both years. CMR has expanded its cable reporting to 25 networks in '96.
