In "Simpson trial eyed for Logo 7 ads" (Aug. 22, P. 13), it is track and field Olympian Florence Griffith-Joyner whom Starter Corp. plans to feature in 1995-96 advertising. The company misidentified its spokeswoman as Jackie Joyner-Kersee; Ms. Joyner-Kersee has no affiliation with Starter.

In "The Interactive Edge" (Aug. 22, P. 17), BBDO Worldwide should have had a 21/2-star rating, rather than 3 stars.

In "News is mixed for consumer books in '94" (Aug. 22, P. 29), it was erroneously reported that First for Women missed its rate base in January and February. Because the magazine's rate base was cut by 300,000 on Jan. 3, First for Women made its new rate base of 1.2 million in the most recent six-month reporting period covered by the Audit Bureau of Circulations' FAS-FAX. Total paid circulation was 1,286,607 for the period ended June 30.

In Promotion Briefs (July 18, P. 14), an item on a Limited Express promotion tied to Fox TV's "Models, Inc." misspelled one of the agencies coordinating the effort. The correct name is Dente & Cristina Associates, New York.
