In "DMA targets membership growth" (July 18, P. 26), coverage of the Direct Marketing Association's membership unfairly compared attendance at the trade group's annual conference with its total member base. While the DMA's fall conference attracts 9,000 or more attendees, its 3,000 membership reflects the number of dues-paying companies-not individuals-that belong to the association.

In Agency People (July 18, P. 33), an item on Gerard Pedraglio becoming president of Publicis FCB MAC Italy, Milan, should have noted he remains exec VP of Publicis FCB Communications Europe, Paris.
