NEW YORK-Cosmair in September will introduce L'Oreal Excellence Creme permanent creme hair colorant, to replace the Excellence Color Reliance line.

A $15 million promotion, print and TV push from McCann-Erickson Worldwide will support. Media buys are planned in both English- and Spanish-language women's magazines.

Other new products:

Donna Karan Beauty Co. next month introduces a skincare line called Donna Karan New York Formula. An estimated $4 million print campaign will support, created in-house. The ad shows a woman in a gas mask and then her face under a magnifying glass.

Bulgari Parfums USA and Chanel have agreed to jointly launch Bulgari women's perfume in North America. Bulgari will control distribution, while Chanel's Fragrances Exclusive division will merchandise and distribute the brand. Print ads will be created in-house by Bulgari and placed by Ogilvy & Mather Direct, New York.Keds Corp. is introducing Facets, a new brand of career and casual shoes and sandals for 40-to-65-year-old women. The line won't carry the Keds name. Kirshenbaum & Bond, New York, is handling the $4 million ad campaign, breaking next year.

DowBrands this month unveils Ultra Vivid Bleach With Color Care in powder and liquid formulas. A print and network TV campaign from Henderson Advertising, Greenville, S.C., features the tagline, "New colors. New rules."

Twinings/Seven-Up Beverages will introduce Twinings ice tea in bottles this month in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Radio promotions, in-store displays and sampling will support via promotion company Campbell Marketing and Edelman Worldwide, Dallas. No ad agency has been assigned yet, though an ad campaign will support the planned 1995 rollout.
