Liquor ad issues aren't on the agenda for the Nov. 25 meeting of the newly recomposed Federal Communications Commission, the first under new FCC Chairman William Kennard. Though Mr. Kennard has previously expressed strong interest in starting an FCC inquiry into liquor ads on TV and radio, there are now indications it may be next year before the new FCC formally takes up the issue. The liquor and ad industries have opposed such an inquiry. The five-person FCC has four new members, including Chairman Kennard.
