SmartMoney.com, a joint venture of Hearst Communications and Dow Jones & Co., awarded its ad account to Digital Pulp, New York, following a review that included a group of undisclosed New York-based agencies. DiMassimo Brand Advertising, New York, previously handled the account. Digital Pulp's first work is slated to break in late spring in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's and other business publications. According to Competitive Media Reporting, SmartMoney.com spent about $6 million in measured media last year. -- Laura L. Hughes
