DoubleClick unveils clients for growing TechSolutions division

Internet advertising network and ad management company DoubleClick said its TechSolutions division, which provides the infrastructure tools and technology for online marketing, posted revenues of $61.5 million, a sequential increase of 15 percent, for the fourth quarter of 2000. The unit signed 252 new clients worldwide, including BBDO Canada and Sears Roebuck Co.'s Sears Online. For the year, TechSolutions revenues grew 172 percent to $203.4 million in 2000 from $74.7 million in 1999; for the first time TechSolutions revenues exceeded those of DoubleClick Media Revenues. DoubleClick also says its DART for Advertisers (ad-serving) unit signed more than 84 new customers, including several traditional marketers making their online debuts.
