Dow Jones launches regional Internet magazine in Latin America

MIAMI--AmericaEconomia, a Dow Jones & Co. magazine based here, is launching in Latin America what it claims is the first pan-regional Internet magazine. Convergencia launches on April 20 as a bonus publication for subscribers of AmericaEconomia.

The quarterly will offer news and analysis on industry trends such as managing logistics as e-commerce crosses borders, building a unified culture across the region, marketing a Web site and financing an e-venture.

"This new-age magazine intends to capture those interested in learning more about Internet developments in Latin America, the people building this industry, those investing and those making money,'' says Ana Torres de Navarra, global sales director for AmericaEconomia and Convergencia.
