DowBrands Home Care Division may rub Clorox Co. the wrong way with a 30-second TV spot for the new Dow Smart Scrub, a soft scouring cleanser that doesn't leave a gritty residue behind. The commercial, part of a $20 million marketing campaign from Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis, claims that Clorox's Soft Scrub cleans up one mess but can leave another. In contrast, Smart Scrub is "Smart enough to clean up after itself."
