Dura Lube to fight NAD decision

Superiority claims and product demonstrations used to promote Dura Lube's Dura Lube Advanced Fuel Treatment System should be modified or discontinued, said the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. The claims, which appeared in packaging, on a Web site and in a 30-minute infomercial, were challenged by First Brands Corp., which markets competing STP brand gasoline additives. Dura Lube said it will appeal the NAD findings to the National Advertising Review Board.
