EFFIE Awards names advisory board

The EFFIE awards, sponsored by the New York American Marketing Association, appointed its first advisory board: Bruce Meyers, chairman of the committee, exec VP-director of strategy and business development, BBDO Worldwide; Stanley Becker, chief creative officer, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising; Ron Burns, global business president, J. Walter Thompson Co.; Bruce Grieve, VP-global rewards, American Express Corp.; Dick Helstein, VP-advertising services, Kraft Foods; Roz Rago, senior partner, head of planning research, North America, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide; and Susan Prisco-Romei, director of market research, Bayer Corp. The committee will advise the New York AMA as it extends the EFFIE Awards Show to other areas and will develop a strategy to keep the EFFIE brand name strong.
