Anheuser-Busch is hitting the links with Michelob and O'Doul's beers serving as official sponsors of both the PGA and Senior PGA tours. The Michelob line is starting its third annual "Great Holes of Golf" promotion through yearend, with golf course graphics and blurbs on cans in 18-packs. O'Doul's non-alcoholic beer is placing "Scratch Golf" cards in 12-packs between April and June. Prizes include Etonic golf shoes, Top-Flite golf balls and a trip to the PGA Tour 1997 Phoenix Open.

Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute awarded its $2.6 million marketing account to Miller Meester, Minneapolis, for retail and promotional efforts backing Alaska-produced consumer seafood. McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Seattle, previously handled.

USA Networks' Sci-Fi Channel this month begins a three-week on-air promotional tie-in with Kraft Foods' Post Honeycomb cereal called "Incredible Journey Sweepstakes." The mail-in entry promotion invites viewers of the cable TV network's 1970s animated TV series "Journey to the Center of Earth" to win a "journey to the center of the United States," in which one grand prize is a family trip to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.
