CRN International, Hamden, Conn., has teamed up with Pilot Pen for a back-to-school integrated marketing promotion centering on rock and hip-hop music, backed by a radio campaign created in-house. A "Cruise to School" contest is also included in the promotion, asking participants to describe Pilot pens in a catchy rap-like sentence. The promotion begins today and runs through Sept. 29.

Chrysler Corp. this week kicks off Camp Jeep, its second annual gathering of thousands of Jeep owners and enthusiasts. The experiential integrated marketing event is slated for Aug. 9 and 10 at Camp Hale, Colo., near Vail. It includes live entertainment, seminars on off-road driving outdoor recreation, access to Jeep's Internet site, and the chance to star in a personalized version of "The Jeep Experience" TV spot. Bozell Worldwide, Southfield, Mich., is Jeep's agency.

Harlem Globetrotters reached an agreement to use the Walt Disney World Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., as their training camp and player development site when the facility opens next May. The basketball team also will participate in various events and performances at the theme park.
