[email protected] launches advanced TV

[email protected] unveiled its advanced digital broadband and interactive services TV strategy, under which it intends to develop and deliver its advanced TV services in close association with cable industry partners. The company says it plans to work with cable operators to create custom user inferfaces, arrange content and commerce partnerships, and establish an integrated management and delivery platform for the services. The program will build on the company's local TV service platform; a set of advertising products that bring together elements of interactivity and TV also is planned to include advanced set-top e-mail, interactive banner and enhanced broadcast ads.
