Advice & Advisors, New York, is shopping a $50 million request for proposals for an undisclosed pharmaceutical or technology company. The consultancy couldn't be reached for comment at press time.

Conde Nast Publications ended negotiations the week of May 3 to acquire Fast Company from Mortimer Zuckerman and Fred Drasner. Spending was undetermined.

WPP Group has taken a 49% share in multicultural consultancy Market Segment Group, Coral Gables, Fla. The company does research, consulting, publishing and datamining.
