FCC member hedges on ad probe

New Federal Communications Commission member Gloria Tristani, meeting with reporters for the first time today, said she was undecided about whether the FCC should launch an inquiry into liquor advertising on radio and TV. Ms. Tristani, once viewed as the third and decisive vote that would start an inquiry, said she is concerned about the issue but that a formal inquiry is "something I have to think about."
