Fila narrows list in $40 mil review

Fila Holdings will narrow the list of agencies for its $40 million worldwide review this week, as the athletic shoe and apparel maker's marketing officials gather in Italy to review proposals. According to executives close to the company, agencies pitching include J. Walter Thompson Co., BBDO Worldwide, Euro RSCG Worldwide and another, unnamed European-based shop. Also, TBWA/Chiat/Day and Merkley Newman Harty, two Omnicom Group agencies, are collaborating.
