Free-PC expands offices; hires ad sales executives

Free-PC, an Idealab company that gives away free PCs in exchange for consumers' viewing online advertising, opened sales offices in New York and San Francisco. Heading up the New York office is Robert Welch, formerly the New York Daily News' national advertising sales manager, while in San Francisco, Bruce Kidd was appointed director of sales for the Western region, from regional advertising sales manager for the Western region at Interactive Week.
