Gatorade Frost No. 2 after only 5 months

Quaker Oats Co. is claiming Gatorade Frost, its new product line introduced in March, has hit the $100 million sales mark. In a conference call with analysts, Quaker said Frost, which received $10 million in media support in the second quarter, is now the No. 2 brand in isotonics, behind the base brand and ahead of Gatorade Powder, PowerAde and All Sport. Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, handles Frost.
