George is moving to monthly frequency in mid-1996 some six months ahead of schedule, said Editor in Chief John Kennedy Jr.

"I think we're busting the notion that advertisers aren't interested in politics," he said. The magazine, currently published every other month, set a two-issue record for a consumer magazine debut this year with 175 pages of ads in each issue.
