Gist Communications, New York, which acquired TV1
earlier this year, unveils a major audio-enabled TV and home entertainment site on Sept. 10. The company, using a multi-million dollar investment from Germany's Sal.Oppenheim Bank, plans to migrate TV1's 90,000 registrants on its guide site to The Gist
. Launch sponsors include NBC, InfoSeek and Freeloader. Real Media, New York, reps the site which has ad rates of a $35 CPM.
