Gist to launch TV guide listing on Web

Gist Communications, New York, which acquired TV1 earlier this year, unveils a major audio-enabled TV and home entertainment site on Sept. 10. The company, using a multi-million dollar investment from Germany's Sal.Oppenheim Bank, plans to migrate TV1's 90,000 registrants on its guide site to The Gist. Launch sponsors include NBC, InfoSeek and Freeloader. Real Media, New York, reps the site which has ad rates of a $35 CPM.
