GM plans to extend warranties on new Olds

General Motors Corp.'s Oldsmobile division, Detroit, is hammering out details to extend the current warranty on its new vehicles from three years or 36,000 miles to five years or 60,000 miles. Ads in national newspapers about the new warranty could appear as early as this week, said Randall Tallerico, who joined as ad director of the division seven weeks ago from J.
