Hasbro unites pan-Euro biz into DDB

LONDON--Hasbro, Europe's No. 1 toys and games company, has consolidated its $9 million pan-European advertising business into DDB Worldwide. The account, which includes classic brands such as Action Man and Monopoly along with Tweenies, was previously shared by DDB and sister Omnicom Group agency network TBWA Worldwide.

The restructure only affects creative and account management. No local agency relationships are immediately affected. In the U.K., for instance, Burkitt DDB, formerly Griffin Bacall, continues to handle the U.K. business.

Hasbro says the move follows Hasbro's decision to resource additional creative work from the U.S. together with demands brought by Hasbro's ever-changing toys, games and lifestyle products portfolio.
