Heinz turns to DDB Needham

Heinz U.S.A., Pittsburgh, has awarded DDB Needham Wordwide, Chicago, an estimated $10 million creative and media planning account for select Heinz products, including Heinz Ketchup, Heinz 57 Steak Sauce and Heinz HomeStyle Gravies. Those brands, along with the responsibility for the overall brand equity campaign, were previously handled by Ketchum Advertising, Pittsburgh. DDB Needham will also pick up Heinz's specialty sauces and vinegar. Neither had a previous agency of record.
