HoJo features families in ads

Real families who have a member actually named Howard Johnson will star in the 1999 TV campaign for the hotel chain of the same moniker. Cendant Corp.'s Howard Johnson International, Whippany, N.J., today unveiled details of its new TV and print effort, themed "We've got a great name to live up to." TV advertising breaks next month. Christy MacDougall Mitchell, New York, handles. Howard Johnson conducted a national search last year to find the families it will feature in its '99 commercials.
