Honda ties Web contest to Bowl

American Honda Motor Co., Torrance, Calif., kicked off an online sweepstakes today tied to the ad buy for its Odyssey minivan during the Super Bowl. Consumers can enter via banner ads Honda bought on all six of Buena Vista Internet Group's Web sites, including, and, or at odysseypromo. The "Odyssey Family Getaway Internet Sweepstakes" is backed by a spread created by Rubin Postaer & Associates, Santa Monica, Calif., in the Jan. 29 edition of USA Today. Two days later, the Odyssey spot runs on Fox's broadcast of the Super Bowl. In the spread, consumers are encouraged to return to the Web during and after the game to double their chances of winning by answering questions about the TV spot.
