I.Q. drops Bates, searches for new shop

Consumer goods manufacturer I.Q. Products is searching for an agency to handle its $10 million account. The company had chosen Bates USA last summer, but said it parted ways with the agency because of "philosophical differences." Before that, I.Q. Products handled advertising in-house. The company sells its own products and makes for rebranding such items as WD-40 and Nexus haircare products.
