IAB names European committee

The Internet Advertising Bureau named its European Advisory Committee (EAC) on October 16. The EAC will focus on the development of a pan-European IAB organization.

The committee members represent the following organizations: Associated Newspapers LTD, Moonfire Interactive, Carat Group, New Media Marketing & Sales, Carat Multimedia, Ogilvy & Mather, Channel 4, Real Media Europe, EMI International, Telefonica, France Telecom Multimedia, Telia, Interactive Marketing Partner (IMP), World Media Network, Media Angels, Yahoo! Europe, Microsoft and 1 & 1 Online Dialog GmbH.

When fully formed, IAB Europe aims to provide a collective voice representing the interests of European companies engaged in selling Internet advertising, and increase the profile and credibility of the European online advertising market.
