(April 10, 2001) -- Online advertising trade group Internet Advertising Bureau said today that it is changing its name to the Interactive Advertising Bureau and making other changes to strengthen the organization. The organization said it has changed its name to "more accurately" reflect its membership. Among other changes, the group also decided to eliminate two minor categories of membership, Associate and Affiliate, to focus on companies that sell interactive advertising as opposed to entities involved in other parts of the interactive advertising arena. -- Catharine P.
