LONDON -- International Data Group, which publishes 285 information technology magazines in 75 countries, has signed new licenses for an Internet title in Ukraine and four new computer titles in Dubai.

IDG is publishing the new monthly Internet Ukraine with the Ukrainian publisher of PC World Ukraine. It will be published in Cyrillic, the local alphabet, from September. IDG is also represented in Ukraine by Comizdat, which publishes Computerworld Kiev.

IDG has also signed up Dubai-based CPI to launch four IDG publications to service the Gulf region: in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. CPI will produce in the next few months an English Computerworld, Reseller World, Network World and an Arabic edition of Computerworld.

Jeff Meers, president IDG marketing services EMEA, welcomes the new licenses saying: "Opening up these new markets serves to underline the global reach of IDG."
