Ikea houses HK media with MindShare

HONG KONG--Swedish furniture retailer Ikea has put its media business in Hong Kong into WPP Group's MindShare following a two-way pitch against Bcom3 Group's Starcom Worldwide, effective January. Previously, the business was handled by Zenith Media. The creative account will remain with Bcom3 Group's Leo Burnett Co. Billings were not reported, but ACNielsen estimates the Scandinavian retailer spent $2.9 million in Hong Kong media during the first three quarters of this year.
