Joe Boxer Corp. and General Mills' Frosted Cheerios are teaming up this fall to offer a pair of exclusively designed Joe Boxer shorts with a waistband emblazoned: "Frosted the Whole Way Around." Consumers can mail in two proofs-of-purchase from specially marked boxes to get the shorts; the promotion continues through May 31.

Advo, Windsor, Conn., will promote high-profile films of Universal Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. via its Mailbox Values direct mail ad program. Advo will feature the films via sweepstakes and promotions in the monthly mailings.

Jimmy Vasser, PPG Indy Car World Series champion, hired IMG Motorsports, Cleveland, to manage his marketing activities worldwide. Mr. Vasser, who won four races and $3 million in his championship season last year, joins Team Rahal/Shell driver Bryan Herta on IMG's North American driving roster.
