Brann Forbes, Dallas, a unit of Havas Advertising's Brann Worldwide, was tapped by Yorkshire Restaurant Group's A&W Restaurants to conduct a marketing analysis of the franchise's media spending. The agency will use its Benchmarketing Audit service for A&W's print and broadcast media to determine how the chain can use marketing dollars most efficiently through improved targeting and timing of print and broadcast efforts.

Roska Direct, Montgomeryville, Pa., a direct marketing agency specializing in pharmaceutical marketing, was selected by French vaccine company Aventis Pasteur to handle direct-to-patient marketing initiatives for several vaccines. The effort is set to launch in late summer.

Real Time Direct, Irvington, New York, the direct-response unit of Havas Advertising's media arm Media Planning Group, changed its name to Media Planning Direct to reflect its aim to further integrate its capabilities across the holding company. The agency's flagship product, Vanity Optimizer, enables marketers to track calls to a single vanity phone number and determine from which media effort they originated.

Communication Concepts Group, an Ivyland, Pa.-based provider of online and offline direct marketing services, integrated its four operating units in an effort to streamline its offerings. The merged divisions include direct mail and fulfillment units Communication Concepts and Pacific Communication Concepts, database company Marketing Communication Systems, and list brokerage and management shop Database Marketing Concepts.
